How much of an after thought the turn signals/fog lights were on the panamara. It looks like they finished designing the car and we’re like fuck, guys we forgot the fogs. Oh don’t worry just throw them in the air vents and problem solved

Yep, on US cars they also act as the DOT-required amber front side markers and reflectors. On RoW cars the housing is clear and it’s purely a turn signal—it does not light up at night as a side marker like the US cars do, and there is no actual reflector.
I personally like the external placement of the side marker and reflector. That means I can easily swap it out for the RoW unit, LOL. Very common first mod for Porsches.
